| transitions I am just starting my Spring training for an Olympic length triathlon in June. I have roped in some training buddies and we have been discussing the benefits of switching back and forth between the cycle and the run.
I've heard two opinions about this. One: train as much as you can and on certain occasions link the two together. It will still feel like your legs are bricks no matter how many times you go between the two. Two: during training it is good to spend days bouncing between cycling and running (four or five times) to help prepare for the transition. I'd really appreciate hearing some other opinions on what has worked for people. thanks. |
