Hmullett - sounds as if you are off to a good start. I to had my first Tri of the seasion (7/9). This being my second season and second race. I did a Int Distance. And I am HOOKED. Thought I finished 175/187 I knocked off 36min off my first Tri. I am pleased with the resulta and am lookig forward to my next race (8/21).

Good luck to all

dcorn~
it's really great to see improvement, isn't it! Makes you feel like you're accomplishing your goals. So, your second race and you're already doing olympic distance? That's great! Keep it up and let us know how your next race goes.

Congrats dcj. 36 mins must be a 20%+ improvement. GREAT JOB! A little factoid... It takes 18% more energy to go 4% faster on the bike at 25 mph. It takes 18% more energy to run 11% faster on flat ground. It takes 4% more energy to run the same pace for each 1 degree incline. Ergo 20% is rockin!
