Nobody can tell you this in a forum of this kind because we would have to see you feet and the way you stand in order to make a judgement call. The only proper way in my view, is to buy shoes from a store which knows something about fitting them. Where I live we have a store that video's the customer running in a variety of shoes, and advises to customer to buy the shoe which keeps their feet in the most stable position i.e. no roll to the outside or inside. Alternatively go to your podiatrist and ask for their advice.
Running is very hard on the joints and you don't want to make a mistake with shoes.

Personally, I train in New Balances and Asics. In my opinion they offer the best cushioning and durability.

I agree with the first reply. Spend the time to get the right shoe for your foot and then spend the extra money to get a good shoe.

FYI, Saucony gets my vote. Onmi Grid 4's. What ever you buy, buy 2 pairs and rotate every run. Good luck.

Go to a specialized running store, during an off peak time (Saturday mornings are usually NOT the best time). They will evaluate your feet, ankle position and the way you run. Different shoes are designed for different people, and the right shoes will make a huge difference, particularly over the long term and as you build miles up. Don't worry about paying the extra $10 for the shoes over what you can get at a discount location. Nothing is better than shoes that fit right and give you the right support.
