Well... good and free don't necessarily go toghther but this forum is a great place for advise. It's by Gale Bernhardt, and it is in my top 2 for training books for triathlon(The Triathletes Trainig bBible by Joe Friel is the other). You an probably get both of these boks on amazon.com for less than $30. Very detailed, I recommend them both. The have heklped me bump up my training from casual sprint tri training, to 1/2 and Full IM distances. Good luck.
