| Hi, best i can think of is to stay relaxed and calm. practice getting in and out of your wetsuit a few times before the race. have a small hand towel at your transition spot (with a big bright towel to find your spot) to dry your feet and face.
remember to leave your shoes and glasses at the transition when walking to the swim start (it is common to forget and have to walk back). check what gear your bike is in when you rack it, if it is to big a gear at the start you could have difficulty, you can always shift to a bigger gear after you start spinning. most importantly, don't worry about your time on your first triathlon, just have fun. |
