Im down in Miami, Fl and I have decided to start Training but I have no idea what to do or where to go. I used to be a track runner and a swimmer, hence I have a background in both, but its been over 10 years since ive done either. I used to coach track 3 years ago, so I have an understanding of running & weight training, but I have no idea how to adapt it to trialothos. Im really excited about this, since i was inspired some years back by a friend who was a Triathlete and I promised myself I would one day accomplish this. I have set simple goals for now, to compete in a Sprint Race in August, and then follow up with more as I get better and more confident. I am very impressed with the feedback on this site and talking boards. If any of you could send me any recomendations on how to weight train or get started I would really appreaciate it. Ive also joined www.ontri.com, to help me log my training and have an idea as to where I am headed. I just cant wait. I started running 30 each day and now im ready to start swiming. Im also in the process of reseaching for a trialothon bike with a very good biker friend of mine. Any suggestions will be more than welcome. THANK YOU! :bannana:
