Oversized Carbon bars

I have an Orbea M1 bicycle with ITM AL Carbon Super Over bars. The bars are
carbon and I would like to put on clip on aero bars when doing certain
events.

1. Is it safe to put clip on aero bars on carbon handlebars?

3. Which aero bars would fit?

Re: Oversized Carbon bars

This is of course just what I have heard...

I have [Only registered and activated users can see links. ] Kestrel EMS
Pro Road bars and they actually mention that Clip-on's are ok. I know other
bars that mention they do not support clip-on's....your best bet is to ask
the bar company....

Of course someone else might be able to offer the "I did it and nothing went
wrong" story.....I for one don't want to tell that one....

:)

Hope this helps...

It is normally ok to put aerobars on carbon bars (assuming they arent
those aero elliptical types) how ever you have to make sure not to over
tighten them, carbon handlebars cant take the stress of al.
