Google Recommendation

I am looking for suggestions for googles, for training and racing.

In addition to the obvious, comfort over long periods is vital.
(Current goggles make my eyes look like Uncle Fester after an hour)

Thanks in advance.

Re: Google Recommendation

hi,

I used to swim the aqua sphere kaiman and was very happy with them in the
pool and outside.....only very little influence on the face...well if your
training is in the morning and after that you have to work it looks quite
okay......my friends only sometimes asked me where the hell have I been last
night !!!

this year I tested zoggs goggles and they seemed to be a bit more
comfortable..look for a similar version as the kaiman.....they are even
better IMO...

Re: Google Recommendation

the very best goggle for you to use is the one that fits you and doesn't leak.
there doesn't seem to be much correlation between price and goodness of
fit----more of a face shape issue. the biggest difference is between the
silicone (or similar---rubber-like) gasket, the foam gasket, and the
swedish-type no gasket goggles.
in my own search for a non-leaking goggle i learned that the foam gaskets
didn't work for me, ever. didn't want to get used to the swedish no-gasket
ones, and have stuck my peace with the last option.
in short: it's very individual and you'll have to try out the various types
on your own face, with your own strap tightening and/or loosening.
