Mark,

I hope you get this message. I got sent away on a mega business trip
from hell and am just getting back to trying this out. I couldn't
figure out how to properly reply to your post so I'm giving it my best
shot in Google Groups.

I did try it and it failed. The device clearly got power but the
drivers I tried failed to install. I believe this is why there's a
problem with the device. It must not be entirely compliant with the
specifications.

In the end I'm buying the Serial interface. What a drag.
