Question for the Accelerade/Endurox drinkers

I haven't used this product for over a year (since my last long race
last year, and my drinks rotted in the hot sun). I also find that I
can't drink Accelerade early in the morning, before a race as it is too
sweet.

I started using this product again in the last month. I do find that in
general my abilities increase dramatically when I use this product.

However, I also notice that my stomach swells or gets wider as the
season progresses when I use this product. A few weeks after not using
the product, my stomach gets smaller again. I think it is the whey that
does this to me as I know that I have an intolerance to whey. I haven't
had any cramping this year.

As I weened myself off the product in the last few weeks I had an
immense craving all sorts of dairy, especially cheese and ice cream and
yogurt and milk and coffee (to get the milk). I tend to stay away from
all of these products all year round because I can get acid reflux.

???

Does anyone out there who has also found this product helpful, have any
advice for me? I am looking for another product that you find as helpful
as Accelerade/Endurox without the swelling.

I am asking this not only as a favor for myself, but so that other
racers don't have to see my belly stick out of my jersey!

???

Once, I am now trying Gleukos.
I also thought about that one product that is mixed to your needs, but I
forget what it is called. Infinity or something similar.
