Watch question

I'm training for an olympic triathlon and all I have is dress watches
so I bought a Timex Ironman watch that's rated as water resistant to
100M. After two times swimming laps at the local pool it had a
considerable amount of condensation inside. I didn't press any buttons
while swimming. I returned it to the store and need to find another
watch and I'm wondering if this was an anomaly or if other's have had
similar experiences.

If you don't like Ironman, what other watches would you recommend?

Having a watch AND heart rate monitor pays off. Invest some money, and
buy a Polar that will help you with the timing and laps, because
you'll need it for the races and training.

Actually, are there any (cheap) watches out there for with (split)
timers whose buttons you can press underwater without trouble?
