glasses holder

anyone have a good suggestion as to how to keep my glasses on during a
triathlon? swimming is the hardest, though running and bouncing glasses
is no fun as well. i tried most of the croakies, and they are ok but
are either painful or do not really hold my glasses in place

thx!!

Try croakies made of different materials. My favorite is rubber
because it doesn't hold moisture or change tension when perspiration
gets in it.

Good Luck,

thx. these do seem to work the best though they are not the most
comfortable. still, i live in fear that my glasses will be ripped off
during swimming. they did fall off once running and that was the end of
that run!!

How bad is your vision?

Depending on your vision. I am a fellow four eye. I generally wear contacts now for all my triathlons. I have daily disposables so if I lose one it is not a big deal.

I know people who do the swim without glasses and have a support person waiting for them to exit the water and then gives them the glasses at a pre-determined spot. You don't really need to be able to see that well during the swim, and it eliminates all the hassle.

Cheers
Syd

during cycling and running I'm wearing my Rudy Project spectacles
([Only registered and activated users can see links. ]. The model named PERCEPTION has an insert for
lenses in front of which the shades are placed. (Picture will paint a
thousans words pls see

I have done some pretty extreme things wearing these glasses, like
mountainbike marathon in the Alps and downhill. These specs stay put.
As far as swimming is concerned, luckily I do not have to wear glasses
during swimming. How about contact lenses?
