I have been to Canada (x5), CDA (x2), Korea (x1), Lake Placid (x1) and
Canada is, by far, the better race. Community support is great. Ease of
living and getting around, excellent. Exchange rate, everything counts!
If you are talking about going to Kona, the timing is bad. Race course,
the best. JC

Don't get hung up on WTC (Ironman|M-dot) races. "Ironman" is a trademark. These events fill up months if not a year in advance. There are other great Iron Distance Races that are not affiliated with WTC (World Traithlon Corporation). The Vineman is a great race and I personally love the Great Floridian. Theres also an Endrasports race in the Bahamas that's 150~ miles I'd like to do some day. As for WTC races, Kona is King but IM Lanzarote Canarias is my next favorite.
