I'd never accuse you of trying to rip anyone off... let alone over a
t-shirt auction. As a non-American I just find it increasingly amusing
how everything has to be the biggest or best from the US.
Most things are, but its not always the way... and was staggered this
year to get a free, last minute entry to a sprint race in Australia
that had 4,500 people in the same race and the biggest transition area
I'd ever seen...

The etiquette thing is funny. I agree with most. I never wear race
t-shirts to social events, to travel in, or to drink in.
The reason I am sellling this T-Shirt is because I have 4 of them. I
sponsored the race that year. My last one made me $175.00. There was
a bidding frenzy in the last few minutes.
FYI, the money is going to charity. I don't really need it.
