wanted: entry for 2005 Chicago Accenture Tri

I have a couple friends headed for the 2005 Accenture Tri in Chicago,
and I missed the registration... closed now. I'd like to go, so am
hoping somebody out there may want to ditch it and sell me their bib?

Lemme know, probably better to take this offline, so email me via
dan_at_dtbprojects.com

thanks,
d

Unless it's done with the race director's blessing, it's a really bad
idea.

Hey D,

Watch Ebay for entries. The Website clearly states that you're welcome to
sell your slot to someone else. You simply need to pay $25 for the change
fee and submit a Change of Entry Form. Just make sure you submit by July
1st. Ignore any negative people trying to keep you out of the race for
whatever reason. Get in and have fun!

Ah, that chenges everything!

Hope you're not thinking that's what I was up to! I thought he was
talking about racing under someone else's name, which is a no-no. If
you'll read my post, what I said was, "unless it's done with the RD's
blessing...". In this case, the RD has a policy to support it, so go for
it!

yeah, they require you to register and send in your check. THEN, if
somebody requests a transfer they charge $25... So it is actually
above-board. Also, you are automatically in a waitlist, in case people
drop out without assigning a replacement.
