4 eyes guy that can't wear contacts...what do i do? - Triathlon Week

i've tried, but just cannot handle wearing contact lenses, and am getting
tired of trying to ride in regular prespription glasses or sunglasses, i
wanna wear sports spicific stuff...where do i go?

Well,

You could do what I did and get LASIK treatment. Now, I can see without
glasses. It's not without trade-offs though, so if you do it educate
yourself.

Have you tried soft contacts? I used them before I got the LASIK and
they weren't too bad.

Keep trying dude.

I used to be unable to handle contacts. Nowadays, with the progression
in 'types' of contacts, I wear mine all the time!!

Make sure you get around and try all the different types/brands there
are (ie. I can wear one brand of 'monthly disposables' very
comfortably, but another brand of the same type drives my eyes crazy!).

Its worth it just to find a pair that are comfortable!!

Good luck - I understand how frustrating it is...

I used to do prescription swim goggles and prescription sunglasses, but
I did Lasik as well.

Another vote for Lasik!! My wife and I both had it done 5 years ago.
