FS: COLNAGO C40 TRIATHLON FRAME/FORK

FOR SALE: COLNAGO C40 TRIATHLON FRAME/FORK/HEADSET/SEATPOST/BB
I have for sale a Beautiful and Rare 650c model Colnago C40, purchased in
1999. The size is 50.5cm measured center-top with a 53cm top tube measured
center-center. It is in very good used condition. Some small chips in clear
coat and minimal imperfections. This frame has a standard looking rear
triangle (no funky b stays). It is mostly black w/ purple accents and yellow
colnago decals. It comes w/ original steel colnago fork and installed Alpha
Q full carbon 1" steerer threadless fork and Chris King Headset. Also
included Carbon Colnago seatpost and Ultegra splined italian BB. I have
plenty of great pics if interested.
This bike was my wife's and it never really fit her. We played with it for
years because she loved the bike, especially the nice ride. We eventually
bit the bullet and had a custom frame built. The frame has been sitting
around for a year as we hoped to sell it to a friend that needed a nice race
bike. Now it is up for grabs.

Dimensions:
48.5cm seat-tube C-C
50.5cm seat-tube C-T
53.5cm seat-tube C-Top of seatpost collar
53cm top-tube C-C
Seat tube angle 76.5 degrees
Head tube angle 72 degrees

This frame has a 4cm head tube extension that rises above the Top Tube that
makes it very nice for most riders to eliminate the need for riser stems.
$1200 obo, shipping extra.

I will send pics at your request.
Thanx for the interest.
