I thought the same thing. I have to admit I enjoyed the coverage. Sure they
had the usual slop, but I like some of it. There wasn't a dry eye in the
house when the lady with the above the knee amputation didn't make the bike
cutoff. Thought they handled Nina's screw-up well also.

Well, I'll complain, even though I'm only 5 minutes into my tape of the
coverage. Actually, I'm 25 minutes into the tape, but only 5 into the
coverage, since some stupid car race ran long. That means I'm missing
the last 20 minutes of the coverage.

Go to the forum at Slowtwitch.com....that's where it seems most of the
triathlon repartee takes place nowadays...

As for the coverage itself, it was not too bad...I'm curious as to what might
have been cut in the 20 minutes, but as I buzzed through the commercials it did
seem that some of those breaks might have been cut short.

didn't you notice you didn't see Hawi or any part of the 2nd half of the bike
other than the dismount at T2?? All of a sudden, they're in transition.

The question is, will MBC do another re-broadcast like the last time they
pre-empted IM coverage and everyone flooded their switchboard with complaints.

I asked the local NBC affiliated for a copy of the show, got shot
down, but was told since the show was cut short, as a matter of NBC
policy, they will re-air the show. No date set.

You can buy the DVD for $40 .......
