Congratulations Nina Kraft - Loser

Nina Kraft, I want to congratulate you for officially bringing the
sport of triathlon into the drug debate. EPO at the Ironman Hawaii.
Good Job!!! At least you admitted it, unlike those such as Tyler
Hamilton (for those of you who believe in his innocence, check out my
real estate website [Only registered and activated users can see links. ])and Barry 'Big Cranium'
Bonds. Again, just wanted to thank you for being an idiot.

This is the first I've heard of it. Do you have a news link about Kraft?
(I think Hamilton is guilty).

It's going to be interesting to see how this ends up being covered on
NBC...quite the conundrum, eh?

At least she's not doing the usual thing of claiming innocence and
threatening to sue everyone involved.

She gets partial marks for that, although if she really felt so guilty
during the race like she says she should have bailed out or refused to
accept the award. The fact that she waited until she got caught before
confessing still bugs me. And, of course, the fact that she cheated at
all.

What will she get, a two-year ban?

Regarding the airing of the race on NBC this past weekend.

All that was said about her disqualification was at the very end. A
30 second blurb but they did fix the standings. All the way through
the show they treated her performance like nothing short of
incredible.

This does reveal a lot about her values. But then who hasn't been
tempted. As a professional it was just wrong, there no argument
around that.

We didn't watch the same show. You didn't catch any irony in the way they
talked about her "exeptional" performance? Stadler blew the men's feild
away on the bike, yet they didn't wonder out loud about his performance.

I've watch every triathlon show this summer/fall (ReplayTV rocks!). I
agree you could construe the commentary as sarcastic or even with a
tone of embarrassment (for her) but if you've watch the other
televised Ironman's the comments on the leaders with a large leads
have been similar.

I am with Harald here. Guilt should come from the act, not from getting caught
