Normann Stadler's Calf

I got an email advertisement from Campagnolo today that has a short
blurb about the IMH winner. But the thing that shocked me was this
photograph (link below). I suppose the folks at Campy want you to
look at the Record derailer or cassette or something. All I noticed
was that leg... damn! This is why I'm not winning that race any time
soon!

Re: Normann Stadler's Calf

I thought this was going to be as thread about his extensive collection
of farm animals.

That's no calf, that's a cow.

I'm late to this discussion, but people always gawk at my calves and make
comments about how sure they are that mine is the wheel to follow because of
how my legs look.

My poor mother hasn't taken a running step in her entire life and she has
calves that look almost exactly like mine (except maybe for the bulging
veins).

Calves like that are probably more a sign of heredity and a mesomorphic
tendency than they are an indicator of fitness/ability.
