political postings

Ok, I have just one request. And I'm not trying to offend anyone, so
keep your insults to yourself.

This is a triathlon newsgroup. What is with all the political posts?
Can we please keep the political crap to a minimum? If you want to
discuss politics, go to a different newsgroup. I hear enough all day
long about politics, one person saying bad things about another;
others trying to convince me to "not" vote for one over the other. I'm
tired of all the stupid phone calls trying to get me to listen to
their long sob story and try to convince me to change my mind. I'm
tired of hearing about either candidate. I don't care what you
think about whichever candidate you are voting for. None of your
posts will affect the way I vote.

So, please, take your political posts elsewhere. Thanks.
