Help Me With My Training Squeeze

X-No-archive: yes

I have an odd training question. I'm time-pressed these days. On
Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays, my work has me getting up at 6:30
am to get the office by 8:00 am, and leaving at 11:00 pm. I get about
six or six-and-a-half hours of sleep, if I'm lucky.

Before work got intense, I was used to training at least an hour –
maybe two – a day. Now I get maybe a workout two or three days a week.
While I'm getting used to the increased workload, I fear that working
out on those three days might wipe me out. What do you suggest?

Things should calm down for me in another month-and-a-half or so.
Should I just do the best I can with what I have? Be happy with two
workouts a week?

Thanks!

Re: Help Me With My Training Squeeze

Do your best to engineer automated conveniences out of your routine. For
example:
1. pretend the elevator doesn't exist.
2. commute by bike, if possible
3. don't waste time travelling to a workout, if possible. For example, run
right after work.

The main thing is to take every opportunity to do things the hard way (ie
the way things were done before the industrial revolution).
