Ironman Live web broadcast

This has to be the most narrowly focussed coverage that they have
provided.
They spent almost 10 hours talking about and showing only the top 6 or
8 competitors. Further, much of the time they were talking, the camera
was on 2 guys in a booth instead of on the competition. I'd much
rather see all of the swim and bike finishes as well as all of the run
finishes with commentary in the background. In fact, just hearing the
race announcer would have been fine, since they added no useful
information anyway.

I wonder if some of their field cameras weren't working?

Well, I kind of get your point, but just because something is free
doesn't mean it's above criticism.

Re: Ironman Live web broadcast

Maybe because most of the cameras were run by NBC crews ..... NBC
might have had some say as to what could get on the web site.
