Hello,
I am new in triathlons and looking for advice... I have only completed one olimpic tri four years ago. I really enjoyed the experience, but my job didn't let me train twice a day, so I gave up. However, I didn't stop trainning (running, spinning and weights). I would like to make another triathlon competition again. My question is: Is it possible to do it, trainning only once a day? I am 42 and reasonable fit.
If the answer was Yes, I would really apreciate any suggestion, trainning plans, whatever...
Thank You very much

You should have no problem completing a Sprint or even an Olympic event in this manner.
My personally routine last year was:
Monday-Run/Weights
Tuesday-Bike/Swim (bike 45-60 minutes/swim 25-30 minutes)
Wednesday-Run/Weights
Thursday-Bike/Swim (bike 45-60 minutes/swim 25-30 minutes)
Friday-Run
Saturday-Swim (other week or so, or I would go for a trail run)
Sunday-Open (trail running or Mt Biking)
I am pretty loose with my training. I am not going to win anything but I am having fun. I throw in a day or two off every other week or when my body tells me too.
