Hello everyone! I am just an old guy (42) training for my first my triathlon. I have had problems getting and staying in shape, so I figured I would try something competetive. Nothing much more competetive than this! I started training in July and hope to compete in the Donner Tri in Lake Tahoe next summer. 3 months ago I couldn't run more than a mile or bike more than 5. I am getting better, though ... I hope I make it by June! Just in case you might want to give me some incentive, you can check out my blog and vote whether you think I can make it or not. (Might be interesting)

Also- tell me what I need to know about tri's! What do you think is most important for beginners? I have a few questions but I'll save them for another post.

Blessings,
Eric
