Hey there, I was trying on some tri shorts and man did those feel weird. I tried the ones with the pad. Is that pad supposed to hang kind of low on your crotch or is it supposed to be right snug up there?

And are they all supposed to be snug fitting in the crotch?

plus I feel really awkward wearing those things. Can someone please let me know what are some good things to wear?

Thank you

Tri shorts IMO should feel pretty tight, almost like second skin, the pad should not be hanging, especially for tri shorts where you have to run.

One of the brands i like and have found that many people share the same opinion is Desoto. Great fit, material, pad. For desoto low cut tri shorts, you almost dont feel the pad.

Check them out,

The shorts are supposed to be super snug, with the Chamois between the legs to give you a little cushioning between your butt and the saddle.

I really like the Sugoi tri gear - good quality, durable and fits well.
