Hello all,

I feel off my bike today (second ride on it) I think I bend the rear wheel and probibly replace it my question is do I need to replace it with the same wheel as the front or can I use a different one? I dont care about looks but do care about price ie dont want to buy two or one of the others if it is more expensive unless i need to. Thanks for your help.

Hope you're all right!

It doesn't matter if you replace it with the exact same model wheel. Assuming you are on a road bike 700c. you can replace it with a any other wheel of the same size. The only consideration you need to make is that the hub is compatable with the number of speeds you have on your bike. Some hubs are not nine speed compatable.

If you really want to save money, check out some of the used bike websites out there, or ebay.

Best of luck
Syd
