I am interested in getting some information on the ZAERO. I currently riding a Trident and have been for 9 seasons. Have completed multiple 1/2 ironman races and 2 IM finishes at LP. I have signed up for IM LP 2009 and will be competing at Timberman in a few weeks. Will Aegis be at the race in NH? Will the seat angle move from 76 degrees to 80 be a big jump or will it be a small adjustment to my riding position?

ZAERO was actually based on the Trident's tubing, which, as you know gives a great ride.. Still my favorite bike!

ZAERO is designed to rotate you around the pedals actually giving you a more open hip position than even the Trident. So, the 80 degrees really doesn't feel like 80.. more like 74... in terms of the openness. You'll find yourself able to ride longer and in more terrains than even your Trident. But, similar to the Trident, the focus is on ride quality, so we don't skimp on the carbon trying to recreate a super-light frame that rides like aluminum. you'll find similar ride quality and stiffness.. And, my belief that a heavier bike can be faster.. especially, when it helps keep your muscles, more relaxed for that RUN! The desire wqas to create a bike that not only rides faster.. but actually allows you to run faster!
