reaction to latex swim cap

I seem to get a red, itchy mark on my forehead after using latex swim caps. I would rather use latex to protect my hair from the chlorine. Any suggestion on what I could use on my skin to protect it? Thanks!

Latex hats are old news anyway - silicon hats are the best these days. No allergic reaction, no discolouring and they don't split as easily. A tad more expensive at £4 rather than 50p but well worth it. It also prevents your hair from ripping when you put it on and off like the latex hats used to.
