Wetsuit Advice Please

I am a newbie. I am training for tri's in Virginia that include lake and Atlantic ocean swims. I expect the water temps to range from 70 to 75 degrees most of the time.

Please let me know of your experiences with these temps. I train at the Y where the temps are in the mid 80's.

I have ordered a 2mm sleeveless sprint suit hoping that it will be sufficient, what do you folks think???

Those water temperatures should be fine for a sleeveless. I have swum 3.8k in 18 degree C water (so 66 F) in a sleeveless and was cold for the first bit on the bike but warmed up fairly quickly. Under 18 C or 66 F, I find it gets a bit chilly in a sleeveless. Of course, it also depends on your body composition and what you are used to. Good luck in your race.

I've heard it's really best to get a sleevless wetsuit even @ 60deg farenheit.? I didn't even think about out of the water and on the bike. If I can brave the cold in a sleevless WS will a sleevless trisuit be enough? Not much body fat and we're racing near the ocean east of Jacksonville @ the end of April. These may sound like dumb ?? but it's my first tri, (sprint) and I just ant to be somewhat prepared.
