Thread: Heather Gollnick Joins World Class GU Pro Team

Berkeley, Calif. – GU, the world’s premier supplier of energy gel, today announced its sponsorship of pro triathlete and five-time Ironman Champion, Heather Gollnick. In addition to representing Heather’s personal racing, GU will be the Official Gel of her popular coaching program, IronEdge.

Gollnick’s five Ironman championships include a nearly unprecedented two in 2007 alone: Ironman Louisville and Ironman Arizona. Now a resident of Lakewood Ranch, Florida, Gollnick has had particular success in her home state of Wisconsin, winning Ironman Wisconsin twice. She is a past National and World Champion in both duathlon and triathlon, and was the champion of Ironman Coeur de Alene in 2003. She is also the CEO of Iron Edge Training Camps, which provides training programs and coaching to a wide range of endurance athletes and events.
