The Escape to Miami was one of TOUGHEST races in 2005, and it's coming again on OCTOBER 15.

This race takes you out on a boat and makes you jump off on to an abandoned Escape Island in the waters of Miami. A .9 mile swim, 24.8 mile bike along the ocean, and 6.2 mile run over a bridge marks one fo the msot scenice and challenging courses on the East Coast. ARE YOU READY TO ESCAPE?
Registration opens July 1-2 with all registrants on those days receiving a FREE RACE CAP. Please invite your friends to race with you as this race will sell out in a months time and is capped at 700.

Looks great. I'd consider this race but will be doing GFT 140.6 the following weekend. Maybe next year though. That's a great distance in a great place (Miami).
