Trade-in for New Bicycle Trade-in Program Introduced

Chattanooga, TN – In an effort to always keep cyclists at the forefront of bicycling technology, American Bicycle Group (ABG), parent company to the Litespeed, Quintana Roo, Merlin, and Tomac bicycle lines, is excited to announce the Trade-in for New program. Trade-in for New gives customers the opportunity to trade their old titanium bicycle towards the purchase of a new bicycle from any of ABG’s 4 brands. Beginning April 15th, the program, located on the web at preownedbikes.com & at participating dealers everywhere, will accept used titanium bicycles from Litespeed, Quintana Roo, Merlin, Dean, Douglas, Ibis, Independent Fabrication, Lemond, Macalu, Merckx, Mongoose, Moots, Serotta, & Seven. Trade-in for New will be accepting complete bicycles only, back to 1996.

Pat Hus, Vice-President of Sales and Marketing at ABG, says of the new program, “We’ve made huge advancements in frame technology in the last two years alone, and our hope is that this trade-in program will help our customers utilize our latest technology.”

For customers tired of the work and risks involved with selling bicycles through online or magazine ads, the Trade-in for New program features a convenient automated bicycle trade-in valuation program. Also featured on the site is a dealer locator, helping customers find the closest participating dealer in their area.

“We have created a program that is completely unique in the cycling industry. We hope that this program will motivate titanium owners to upgrade their old bicycles,” Hus adds. Trade-in programs similar to Trade-in for New can be found working successfully in other industries, including the Callaway Golf Trade-in, Trade-up golf equipment program.

For further information about this program, view the Trade-in for New web pages, starting April 15, at preownedbikes.com, or email the Trade-in for New staff at info@preownedbikes.com.
