New to this TRI stuff

Hello everyone

I am planning to run a duathlon in May and a Sprint Triathlon in September; not much of a biker or swimmer, but a decent runner with 17:58 5K/3:06 Marathon PR's. Any good advice on where to start?

Thanks.
Curtis

Sounds like you're motivated and have a plan. The only advice I can give is to:
- Keep a log. This allows you to see of you're on track by looking at total time/miles each week leading up to your goal.
- Find a group with similar interests. Join a cycling and running club. Find workout partners.
- Sign up for other events. Plan on a 5k/10k. Sign up for Bike races.
These are just a few tricks to keep your motivation from waining and to mix up the monotony of training.
Good luck!
