"Universal" suits & Hello

I am helping a friend get started, trained, and ready for her first tri and we are a little in the fog on some gear and your assistance is greatly appreciated. She is 5’00”, & 100lbs, and is in tip-top physical condition. BTW, she just ran her 1st Boston @ a 8.15 pace! Anyhow back to the point. We would like to know if there are any “universal” suits recommended. Since it’s the first one, we’re looking on reducing time. Please note we are also intending on not going clipless on the bike. I apologize for my wordiness, as this is my first time.

Sincerely,

Jtaco

I would go to any of the tri websites and just start shopping around. The ones that I go to are [Only registered and activated users can see links. ] and [Only registered and activated users can see links. ]. She sounds like she has great potential! What distance is she going for for her first tri?

You're right she does have great potential. It's to get her feet wet, so to speak, it's a 500m swim, 20k bike, & 5k run for her first, but thank you sincerely for your input!
