New to Tri's in Colorado - Triathlon Week

Hello all!

24 y/o female here, new to the tri scene and very interested in doing a few this summer right here in Colorado. I fell in love with the sport after I saw a portion of the Loveland, Colorado Lake to Lake triathlon this year - and immediately decided that it was definitly something that I could get into. Hoping to get a few pointers on training, and reflections for a naive first - timer!

Anybody here from Colorado and in the Loveland/Boulder/Fort Collins Triathlon scene? How about anybody up here wanting a responsible and dedicated training partner?

Hope to get to know some of you, and later find us at the start line of a TRI at 6am on a beautiful Saturday in June, parting the water, spinning our cleats , and pounding the pavement to the finish line.

Hi Chris, I live in Broomfield and am training for the 5430 series of races this coming season in Boulder. The registration opens Jan. 1 and the first race is a sprint on June 18, then an Oly on July 23, and it finishes with a half IM on Aug. 13. Like Scott I am happy to virtual train with you just because my training schedule is real wierd and at odd times so I train solo or with my dog. If you have any questions you have come to the right place.
