| Hi Jen, the first thing I would suggest is that you start to put multiple workouts together just like you would see in the sprint. This can be hard if your pool, lake, pond, ocean, or whatever you can find to swim in is either far from home or closed during you optimal training time. It sounds like you are fit enough to finish a sprint in good time and have fun doing it, you should taper off a week prior to the race and you can check out nutrition info on this site. Another tip is to try to find out where the race course is and practice on it or some where equal or just a bit harder, this will make your race day seem easy compared to your training.
