| Welcome to Triweek!
there are a lot of resources to help you plan your training. When I first started I picked up a triathlon book and got an idea about how I should structure my training. My goal was to just finish. Also, I would recommend to reach out to any tri clubs there are in your area. Some gyms have tri clubs also where you can talk to people and get some good advice from trainers. Also, you can get a coach to set up your training schedule. Honestly, for beginners it shouldn't be very difficult. Btw- you need a Hear Rate Monitor asap if you don't have one. When you strive to make good time or target good placing, then a coach is a good idea. Use this forum to post any questions you have. There are some excellent and VERY experienced triathletes and a great coach to help answer your questions. |
