New guy to tri

Hello from Colorado, I'm new to the sport but a veteran of physical stuff, I have been playing ice hockey since I was 7 years old and have a third degree black belt. I was sidelined with a shoulder injury (due to a snowbaording crash) for about a year. Needless to say I packed on a few too many pounds, I have started to train the ole body again and look forward to doing tri's. This sight is just what the doctor ordered, and I will be lurking often with the intent to learn more about the sport. Any comments or incouragment would be greatly appreciated.

Hey..good to see you on the forum Spike10!! Triathlon is a great sport. You learn how to balance three very different and demanding sports. Remember to train smartly and not waste your time with "junk" mileage as coach says. Eat well...fuel your body with the right stuff, and above all HAVE FUN!!

Power to you

Knowledge is power. This site is a great place to aquire some. Train hard, do your homework and remember that there is nothing like experience. Good luck this season.
