| foot pain I am currently in the army, and just last year I caught the triathlon bug. Between my regular army training and my training for triathlons I did some damage to both my feet. The doctors (neurologist, podiatrist, and recently a pain dr) are having some trouble on pinpointing the exact cause of my pain. My pain is mainly located on the soles of my feet. I often feel tingling and a burning sensation in the balls of my feet, the plantar area, and arches. One podiatrist suggested that I had either nerve entrapment and or damage to my posterior tibial nerve. I have had an EMG done with no alarming findings. I have also had x-rays and an MRI as well, which both showed no substantial cause for the pain. I have had the pain for approximately seven months. Any ideas and or recommendations would be helpful. |
