| questions on creatine use im a sprinter in high school and about 2 years ago i severely broke my leg wrestling, which put me out of comission for about a year and had me put in physical therapy for a crazy long time. now, my sprinting and overall running abilities have really fallen short of what i used to be able to do, because i was restricted from any intense exercise for such a long period of time. recently i've been reading about creatine supplements and have heard both ends of the extremes associated with them, from being the athletic wonder-supplements to them ruining your health/life/etc. first off, is using creatine dangerous for a person my age? also, would it have any benefits for enhancing triathlon performance, since the majority of things i've heard about creatine are that it is used mainly for short anaerobic athletic activity? does anybody here use creatine for triathlon training purposes? cant wait for your guys' feedback.
