road race in San diego feb 9th any tips?

22 mile race.

8am start. was thinking of a 2 medicine ball exercises with .5 hr warmup to zone 3 & a 15 min road warmup.

Just looking for pre race warmup tips

Raoul,

What medicine ball exercises are you doing? Is that for core warmup/stretching?

I'm not sure that any medicine ball exercises would form part of a good warm up for a cyclist!! Try to think specific, a gradual warm up to the intensity at which you'll race. Unless the weather is hot or cold, when there might be no benefit from warming up.
