    Bike Ideas?

    I am a college student and a tri beginner. I did my first tri in may with a mountain bike and struggled on the bike. I want to invest in a road bike but i do not have a huge amount of money to invest in a bike right now. Does anyone have any advice on how to get a bike or any bikes that are affordable? Any ideas would be great

    If you're not 1000% committed to Tri and think you might try cycling races, just buy a road specific bike. There's no real benefit in a Tri bike for most people on shorter races. That said, look at the Trek 1.2 Series. It's a quality road bike you can use for both. Good luck!
