    Bike rack spec for triathlon

    Does anyone know if there is an "official" bike rack spec (transition) for triathlons? I want to make up a few racks for my triathlon club to use when we train and do practice runs on the triathlon courses in the area.

    There's no IEEE specification for racks. Some use wheel racks others use saddle/bar racks. If you use a saddle/bar rack, just make sure the rack is tall enough so that the front or rear wheel of the tallest bike is clear of the ground when racked. HTH

    Update

    Update, i made a mock up and then was able to borrow a rack and copy it, have made about a dozen so far
