I am starting to train for my 1st ironman too. My current schedule for cycling is Monday night 90 min easy pace (approx 26 mile) on trainer as part of my Monday night football brick. The run part of the brick is also easy pace and last as long as the football game. Of course I don't like overtime all that much.

Tuesday I'll do a 2500m steady swim (mostly arm pull) in the morning and call it a day.

Wednesday morning I swim 1000m in the morning (mixed pace). In the afternoon I ride for about 20 miles on the road at high tempo. That's all the day light I have.

Thursday I do another brick (45min/45min) while watching TV with my wife. She walks on the treadmill while I am on the trainer. Then she rests and pokes fun of me while I am on the treadmill. We really don't care that much about what we watch.

Friday morning I swim 2500 steady swim and walk in the evening at the lake park with my wife after dinner. The walk goes any where between 45 min to 1.5 hr depending on how we feel.

Saturday morning I either do long ride or long run. Long ride is 100+ miles. Long run is 15+ miles. If it rains I'll do it on my trainer/treadmill.

Sunday is for church, yardwork, soccer, and football or whatever sport event on TV.

That's a long round about answer to your question huh. The short answer is about 250 km.
