The value of Cadence

I just recently updated my bike computer. The new one measures cadence. How can I use this information so that I am a better cyclist? I have only been riding for about 2 months.

Thanks in advance for your advice.

Use this information to watch your development as a cyclist, over the first year of cycling your ability to pedal will improve. You will notice higher cadences for extended periods (90 to 110 rpm) and higher peak cadences (some people acheiving in excess of 250 rpm in sprints).

If your cadence doesn't creep up over the year, you need to consider if you are in a gear that is too hard.
