| Sore hip (left) Starting back in August, someone noticed that when I get up from sitting, that I was limping. I felt like it was because I was sitting so long with my legs crossed. This was durring Sunday School and ofcourse that morning I complete one of my long runs for the week and I started to put one and one together as time went on.
Now there is pain when I run and pain with I sit to long or play basketball on a concrete floor. So I was reading in Runner's World and got intersted to see what was happening and causing this to hurt (figured it was just arthritis before), but I have no range of motion problems, just stiffness and some pain when standing up after sitting. Lately when I push my clutch for a while, like at a light, it starts to hurt too....
Anyways, I go see a Sport Medicine doctor next week to make sure it is nothen to bad, but I am thinking/hoping it is just a small stress fracture and he will say no running or basketball for 6-8 weeks! Anyone else out there have this problem before and am I close on guessing what it is.
If I do not run for a week or so it does feel better and I have not run for 1.5 weeks now, but I have played a good amount of basketball on the concrete surface. |
