first time

my name is ken kirkby. i live in thunder bay canada i would like some advice on traing for a triathlon. swimming is my weak point

i live in the part of canada were it is very cold. what do you think about running inside

Ken, welcome to triweek!

I found that the best way to simulate running outside is to run on a treadmill with a 1%-2% incline. I've never felt 100% natural on the treadmill, but it's easy to do running intervals on it.

Indeed, oxygen consumption while running on a treadmill has been shown to be equal to that of level ground running outside when the treadmill is set at a 1% incline.
