Problem Gaining Weight

Hey whats up guys? I have a problem gaining weight in the gym! I workm out 4 times a week, and work out 1 body part 3 of the days, and bi's/tri's the 4th day. Is there anything i can do to put some lbs on?

have you tried using protein supplements?? you need to have more protein to build muscle mass. creatine is also great for gaining muscle. look into these supplements to compliment your weight training and you will start to see improvements!

This is common exercise myth, even vegetarians can get enough protein in their diet to maintain the maximal rate of muscle growth. Check out any basic nutrition textbook.

Your reason for lack of hypertrophy is more likely due to poor training practices in the gym. Look up split weight training regimes and hypertrophy on the web.

Increaseing your strength is unlikely to benefit your endurance cycling, check out [Only registered and activated users can see links. ] for a reveiw of this in their training articles section by a guy called Ric Stern.
