Not that I think anyone will be able to come on such short notice, but me and my buds are organizing the first ever duathlon next weekend in iceland. So if you are hanging around Reykjavik not knowing what to do head over to Heidmork around 9 a.m. on sunday oktober 31st. :)
But actually I was wondering if anyone would be interested in a olympic distance triathlon next summer up here in iceland? You don't have to commit to going or anything, just wondering if you could see yourself making a trip up here to participate for an olympic distance tri, and also if you were more or less likely to make the trip if the distance was half-ironman or ironman.
Just to give you a taste of what you can expect: the sea temperature in July/august (when its the warmest) is perhaps 12-14 C (53-57 F) and the air temperature is perhaps 14-18 C (57-65 F). And the sun is pretty much on the entire 24 hours. So we could do like a midnight tri and still have sunlight the whole time
What do you think?
